"We worked with Pim to organize and facilitate a special half-day fun tour for a global group of business women. From an intimate, delicious lunch, to visiting galleries and special spaces, Pim brings such a contagious energy and warmth to his work. He immediately connects to clients and groups, and delights in finding creative ideas to bring themes and experiences to life. Leading in a way that gives just enough structure, while also inviting curiosity, fun and exploration. I'd highly recommend working with him." - Victoria Foster, Managing Director of Better Future US, New York
"Pim is reliable, dedicated, and eternally upbeat. His ability to calm and reassure confused or frustrated clients is unparalleled, and it is because of his excellence in this area that group leaders request his services over and over." - Barbara Dunn-Alfinito, Owner of Barbsgetaway, Brooklyn
"We've had the pleasure of joining Pim on a bike tour through Williamsburg, Bushwick and Dumbo in September, which was definitely one of the highlights of our time in NY. Nothing beats seeing Brooklyn –or any other area- through the eyes of a passionate resident, who has taken the time to prepare a tour in such a way that everyone's wishes and interests were catered for. It felt like day out with a knowledgeable friend rather than a tourist activity. Pim is a laid-back, interested guy who truly loves the city and is eager to share his knowledge & experiences: I will definitely recommend these tours to others visiting New York, and look forward to more tours during future visits! Thanks Pim!" - Private tour with Hanne Kuijstermans, Amsterdam
"Going on a safari through Brooklyn with Pim is awesome. Pim shows you the big 5: food, drinks, street art, hipsters AND local inhabitants. Plus, he has a lot to share about all these subjects. Go Pim!" - Private bike tour with Sabine Jansen, Brooklyn
"I had the pleasure to be on one of Pim's tours through Williamsburg. Being invited to Pim's home for lunch allowed me to experience the everyday life/home of a New Yorker. Pim supports his local community and has heaps of contacts providing you with the experience of visiting artists studios, off the beaten track galleries and shops/restaurants. As a guide, Pim's authentic friendliness immediately makes him likeable. Most importantly - he has the knowledge of what New York can offer and a passion for his city." - Custom Experience with Monica Hatcher, New York
"A great trip to the Big Apple is not complete without a tour with our great tour guide Pim! We are a group of 4 friends traveling from Amsterdam and absolutely LOVE New York. Through a friend we heard about Pim and his bike tour and as we are quite avid bikers in Amsterdam we felt we really had to take the tour with him. What a great guy, looking out for us all the way, handing us great bikes and showing us places we would otherwise never have seen or biked straight by. Like this really cool mini shopping mall, hidden behind a non-descript front but once entered a mini world on its own with great café place, yoga school and supermarket. As we walked through Pim told us all about how this place got to be, what it’s like living and working here and how the neighborhood is ever changing and evolving. Of course we told Pim in the beginning we were not in a hurry, so he really took the time to show us around, great street art, lunch at the very cool Roberta’s and a tour and background info on the Hasidic Jewish community (of which he was very respectful not to tell us the background info only after we left this neighborhood). I would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends, thanks again Pim, you made our trip!" Custom Experience with Niels, Amsterdam
"We booked a tour with Pim last May and it was truly a fantastic experience! Pim is very friendly and clear in his communication, so when we arrived at our meeting point in Brooklyn, all was taken care of. He works together with a great little bike rental place who rents really solid and easy to manage bikes. They gave us a small run down of the do’s and don’ts of biking in Brooklyn and of we went. Pim took us straight to a couple of excellent street art locations, beautiful murals and really cool to get to hear the story behind them from him. Pim really knows his art! We’ve been to Manhattan several times, but are not that familiar with Brooklyn, so it was great that Pim could show us some hidden gems which we would otherwise have missed. It feels a bit like cheating to write them down in this review; you’ll just have to join Pim for a tour in order to discover them! All in all; an excellent experience with a great tour guide; definitely a must do when visiting NYC! " - Private Bike Tour with Jikke van der Krieke, Amsterdam
